Yeah… I’m back again. And yeah, this post basically replaces the old feature one.
I just wasn’t happy with the UI at all. It felt off. Too bright, too open, and a lot of information just… sitting in places where it didn’t belong.
You know that feeling when everything is technically there, but nothing really fits together? Yeah, that.
So I went back and reworked pretty much everything visually. Colors, structure, spacing, how content is grouped… all of it.
I wouldn’t say it’s perfect now. Not even close. But at least it finally feels like something I can look at and go:
“yeah… this is something.”
Before it felt like a default layout that just happened to exist. Now it actually feels like a direction.
This wasn’t about making it “fancy”. It was more about removing noise and putting things where they actually make sense.
I think the biggest change isn’t even what you see. It’s that the project now has a base I can actually build on.
Before, every new thing felt like I was stacking stuff on top of something unstable. Now it’s more like… okay, this can grow.
I’ll still tweak things here and there. That’s probably never going to stop. But I’m at a point where I don’t feel like I need to redesign everything again tomorrow.
If you’re building something yourself: don’t wait for “perfect UI”. Get it to a point where it feels right enough to move forward.
For now I’ll let the project breathe for a few days. No big changes, just small adjustments if something feels off.
After that… we’ll see where to turn the next screws.
Also yeah, I need more content on here. Two articles is… not exactly a lot.
I’ll probably keep playing Gray Zone Warfare, so there’s a good chance more stuff about that will show up.
And guides? Those usually only happen when something actually breaks.
Right now… things are working a bit too well.
(yeah that’s probably a bad sign already)
So yeah. New UI, better direction, still not perfect.
But at least now it feels like something I actually want to keep working on.
And that’s probably the most important part.
